                   This workshop gave a better insight into how government regulations help protect workers and how we should pay attention to these laws ourselves.  By knowing more about these OSHA laws, it can help better prepare us for future injuries as well as future shortcomings that may impact us negatively. By countering it properly, it can help us cope with these misfortunes by knowing more about these labor laws. In this workshop, it's taught us that whatever may come as a result or working, it must be notified to the supervisor or the boss of the workplace so that it can be dealt with properly. There was one video where it demonstrated a girl's issue with the workplace where she suffered a disastrous injury which crippled her for life.                The interview skills workshop really helped out with improving our first impressions pitch. When presenting ourselves in front of others, it's mandatory to conquer and master the art of the interviewing skills. We managed to improve on our efficient yet lacking handshakes as well as our presentation to others. Many flaws were found when undergoing our session with the experts and as result, we've improved thanks to him. The person diligently exposed our flaws on purpose and then commented on it with his own honest feedback which really helped out because his advice later made much more sense when it was implemented.

               The PBJ drive, sponsored by the honor society in 2016, was completed as community service towards the people in need. It was completed as a result of a team effort since it was a collaboration of making PBJ sandwiches towards the needy. This very event contributed towards working together as a team as well as developing extra skills as a skill set. In this case, it contributed towards cooking skills in a minor way since making PBJ sandwiches is kitchen work. It was also very enjoyable to make such sandwiches in a such a unique way as a team. We were instigated to make sandwiches that were stacked together in doubles, triples and quadruples by accident. It was such a messy process that we even ended up having extras to eat as a matter of fact.                     The activities that I've participated in also lean towards activities that aren't school-based. For instance, I've participated in band ever since freshmen year and have been committed to it with extreme perseverance.  Even though band has caused stress when it comes to performing towards the judges every year,  I've endured such definitive moments that have shaped my life. These very events have developed a certain kinship with the conductor as well as my fellow band mates. As a team effort, it's contributed towards our bonds of players of senior band all the way from junior band. As a result of combined efforts from the other flutes and me as a flute player, I have progressed myself to reach an advanced level of being a flute player. Plus, this very experience also helps out others in the long run so they can bestow the knowledge of music and its assets/benefits.      

                  The GLG is a well recognized organization in New York which seeks to impart wisdom and educate future learners for the future. It started in 1998 and soon developed networking to enhance and further spread its name throughout the globe. Their mission was is have a one-on-one learning session with incoming knowledge seekers and impart educational advice for which they can then use to take them further into the workforce. They have people whom are practitioners of business leaders, scientists, academics, former public sector leaders, and specific subject matter specialists.                 Throughout my high school experience, I've learned to use my WBL experience for it to become a valuable asset in the future. Due to instilled values that are gained throughout the process, it's made me a better person in understanding the workplace in current time. I've learned to pace myself in the ways of an employed person throughout my internships and even in the classroom. Plus, it's given better control into how I perceive the future outcomes of assignments and my own decisions as well.                   The objective of this Project was to create a website which conveyed the concept of Identity through our knowledge. I thoroughly researched the concept of Identity before starting this project which developed into this project with the use of CSS, HTML and JQUERY.  It required everything to be linked together to develop such a project and that way it would've been made into a successful presentation of Identity and it's reason of existing.                                  The objective of this lab was to create a JQuery animation using a JQuery button function in which it applied JQuery animation to 5 divs. This lab required one function for all 5 div shapes in which each div shape was given certain instructions on how to move and expand as well as shrink in size. Through the process of trial and error, we were given the opportunity to experiment with local- coded animations and succeed with these attempts. This gives a webpage a sharper, attractive and much more revamped look of a webpage rather than using JavaScript alone for a webpage.        The objective of this lab was to create a webpage that had incorporated JQuery into designing a webpage with selected div elements that would show 4 ways of handling div tags. The 4 div-tag instructions instructed the divs to be show, hidden, fade in and fade out for 4 different div tags. As such, the code for jQuery was incorporated based on the previous experiences of JQuery such as the Khan Academy. Each tag was given certain instructions to respond to the JQuery directions. Also, the div tag and the fade timer were given specific CSS rules to which I conformed them to my liking. The html itself wasn't hard at all and even the JQuery code wasn't difficult at all. With just a little understanding, anyone can achieve such a basic webpage such as this to be used efficiency.           This skill would've really come in handy to create such fluency in a webpage rather than using a table of purely HTML and CSS code.                 The objective of the CTE Expo was to introduce the freshmen to Web Design and convince them to join the CTE academy. Through my experience, I've recently implemented networking skills to which I recently found out to attract a stranger's attention professionally. It seems that the freshmen will only listen to one of the students in this class if the senior knows a freshman within their social circle to which then it interests them. So, by taking advantage of this, I really gained a better insight to how they think and what really motivates and interests them besides doing no work and communicating with others.            The objective of this project was to create a website from scratch based on the interviewed company. I interviewed 5STARS (a.k.a Shoe Magic) in which this business specializes in creating sneakers based on the consumer's desires with whatever design that they can possibly think of. The motto of the company is that it "gives back to people the freedom to do what they couldn't do ever before".                          The objective f the Mad Libs game was to incorporate JavaScript functions along with CSS and HTML to enhance the game. The game required the user to input their own words, specifically words that fit what the input field required. For instance, if an input field asked to put in a verb or a pronoun, the user could've put whatever word that suits it's requirements. The words would then be accumulated to form a wacky story to which it was outright ridiculous. In order to complete this assignment, I had to use a variety of JavaScript statements to which I had difficulty to achieve. It required a lot of CSS to be used as well to show how the story would be shown.                               The objective of this lab was to create a form from scratch using JavaScript, CSS and HTML. We had ti incorporate previous knowledge from before and we also had to use new skills related to form-submit actions. We also used JavaScript loops and statements assigned to each HTML name to which each piece of data was branched off into another JavaScript statement. For each category that the user input into the fields of information, I created code to counteract different inputs of the user and to formulate a response to their data input.              The objective of this exercise was execute code that holds value to be either true or false.  the boolean statement can decide wether a value can be true or false when used to compare values such as numerical statements and greater than or less than values. With this piece of code, it can be used to compare values for mathematical statements. The usage of this code depends on the person using the code since it doesn't really serve a purpose besides executing math calculations or anything that requires a greater than or less than value. The exercise itself isn't difficult at all and depends on how the boolean function is used such as the person making a boolean function.
