WBL Reflection journal

     

          Throughout my high school experience, I've learned to use my WBL experience for it to become a valuable asset in the future. Due to instilled values that are gained throughout the process, it's made me a better person in understanding the workplace in current time. I've learned to pace myself in the ways of an employed person throughout my internships and even in the classroom. Plus, it's given better control into how I perceive the future outcomes of assignments and my own decisions as well. Although, my WBL experience would've really come in handy before, I'm truly satisfied to having learned such wisdom before going to college.


                My years of being an ITHS student having given such values that have made me a better and insightful person both in school as well as outside of school. For instance, developing patience is a key in dealing with critical situations by having a level-headed way of thinking. Even being a critique takes caution in a workplace due to how it may affect one's actions and thoughts later on. As such, taking the initiative in certain situations can sometimes result in a benefit if done at the right moment. I've learned in exercising this practice at the correct moment which has made me the person I am today. If it weren't for these very valuable skills, being as successful as I am now would've been an impossible act to do in the past. By conquering one's past failures can one lead to their success in the future.
